Need some new tunes?

That's what it is really about

Fashion is not about shows, trends, celebrities and reality shows. It is the diligent and persistent artisan who endlessly look for inspiration, and gives herself entirely to her creation. Its not just the mysterious glamour and how to get there but the mythical aura that surround such a breathtaking process.

On some "serious" matter...only to some...

I have long heard of the debate on fashion industry scheduling issue, so the whole thing is, since fashion show shows you what is going to sell in the store about at least over 6-8 months before, the buyers place orders and production begins. During that time, H&M and Zara already got the notes and customers rushing in to get their hands on the runway look items. By the time the season comes, customers are already tired of the over advertised styles and items on the glossy. Then maybe the 60% off sales would lure them in again, but, that would just feeds the idea that we really never have to buy full price items!

I think the fast fashion tread and recession really confronts the fashion industry, to find a better way to run things, from scheduling issue to adjusting the price point for the luxury goods. What is your thought on this?

Re-vintage

Came across a nice ebay merchant selling some great vintage items, I think the selection is carefully edited and styling is also appropriate. It definitely beats the tiny vintage shop we usually come across in europe and nyc which has that "aged" smell circulating around the room.
